It’s almost time to return to the desert for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. This year’s festival will be headline by Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator, Doja Cat, and No Doubt.

Taking place over two back-to-back weekends, festival goers will experience additional peformances from the likes of Peso Pluma, Lil Uzi Vert, Ice Spice, J Balvin, Tyla, and so many more. Given how extensive the lineup and festival experience are, it’s no surprise that it would be impossible to catch every performance. Thankfully for music-lovers, YouTube will return as a festival partner and livestream performances to the official Coachella YouTube channel.

The Coachella experience features camping, shopping, large scale art installations, and more. Given the nature of this experience, festival goers will spend anywhere from $ 499 - $ 1 269 just to enter the festival grounds. For camping, attendees can expect to pay anywhere from $ 150 - $ 11 000 depending on how much luxury they’re seeking from their accommodation.

Coachella has been effectively communicated around the world through social media and the press. For first-time festival goers, a deep dive into the history of Coachella may be helpful in preparing for Coachella 2024. Released in 2020, Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert explores the history of the Coachella festival providing “a rare look at Coachella’s colorful beginning, presents exclusive, never-before-seen footage, interviews, and key performances from some of the biggest names in music.”
